Don’t forget this Friday! We kick off “The Cure“. An event for all !!!lead by your youth. So make sure you invite someone, come out and support your very own. Everything kicks off at 7pm with some rock’n worship. Also my buddies “1773” from Chicago are coming into to town. These guys are RAW, straight up Hip Hop from Chi-town. You are probably wondering about the age range for that night huh? There will be no carding, no cover charge, you walk right in and make yourself at home. See you there. 1100 old dixie hwy Doors open at 6pm!!

Look around and soak it in. It is happening. Don’t blink cause every second counts. See you guys and gals tonight. Things will never be the same again.

You are probably wondering what it looks like from the stage, well here it is. It can be very intimidating at first. Every Sunday when the countdown begins my palms are cold and sweaty, my heart is racing a million beats per second, and I have to use the bathroom. Yep! Until I actually strum the first chord on my guitar and say “What’s up Life Pointe”, anything before that is chaos. I don’t remember the last time I wasn’t nervous before one of my rock shows nor leading worship. Once I start, it feels like I can’t stop. I guess when something is your passion you get nervous about it, I think I’d start worrying the day I am not nervous. It can get tough looking out into the crowd, because thoughts race in your head, “I wonder if they’re enjoying themselves? They’re rock’n!, He looks bored? Wow! New people, Life Pointe is going to just blow up with people! ” I start having visions of our future..so on and so forth and while all that is going on I’m trying to sing the worship songs. This isn’t the case every-time, but maybe most. That is where the challenge is to seize the moment and forget about everything else. Sign off from your day to day stuff and just have your worship experience.

I’m not gonna lie at times it seems I have a bullseye on me. I am an easy target for critique, criticism, praise and the fashion police! I’ve learned to not pay attention nor entertain those thoughts. It isn’t easy, but necessary. You gotta “rise above that” and go to the next level. We’re out on a mission and we are going to finish at all costs. So you think you got what it takes to lead worship? Sounds chaotic huh? It’s great, it keeps you on your toes all the time. Every second counts! So I dare you to indulge in the worship experience with sOuL rAdIo!

Well turning the resort lamp off, it was a great and relaxing day. It felt good to chill and not have to do anything. It was a short evening, but a sweet one. I walked down the beach with my son and he just totally fell asleep with the ocean track behind him. I just sat there in the sand with my son in my hands and wondered? About? Can’t say…At least not now. The moon looked like this huge light bulb in the middle of the ocean, it was amazing. Totally digging Palm Beach, Very nice, very nice. Going to bed got an hour and some change of a ride. Oh yeah, my phone totally went nuts. Its turning on and off at its own will. So yeah my phone is out of commission, another thing to add to the list. First no AC in my truck now no Phone, but in the end God is good and faithful ” You are all I need”…See you tomorrow. counting down… 5 1/2 days till Mom and Pops come chill, and my sis!!!

Today was awesome, from set up to worship to walking out the theatre, I got an extra treat this weekend. My older brother and his family came into town. Awesome! I miss my Chicago Fam, come to think of it I sort of miss Chi-town. Ok! Back to reality. I was really excited about today and sure enough it was obvious. To put the icing on the cake I’m here spending the day with my family here in West Palm Beach. What a view! The ocean is beautiful. From the youth event this Friday to my Mom and Dad and sister will be in town…can’t wait! (Trav and Paul better work on their Spanish ,What a site that would be eh?! My parents aren’t Fluent in the Anglo Language! HAHAHAHAH,  Oh yeah and my buds from Chicago, Shaggy and Just J, chicago’s finest HipHop 1773! Anyhow signing off, gotta enjoy the beach and pool with the fam before its gone today. Right now is the momment, tomorrow it’ll be gone. gotta seize it!
