Dave Matthews says it best in his song “So much to Say”…This was an adventurous weekend. From my tire blowing out on the way to Orlando to driving back the “horror Interstate”. We got to spend time with the family in Orlando. Reina and I walked in downtown Disney reminiscing on our early dating years. It was great to get away and just chill. Grandma totally spoils Diego. We drove back Saturday night…I’d rather not talk about it. Set up was great, we had an amazing crew, lets do it again fellas!
Sunday was super cool and full of S..stuff. Worship was awesome, videos were great, Travis bailed out to go meet his son. What else..Oh yeah this.
I first got baptized when i was 14 years old, it was awesome and great, but I felt I had to do it again. I feel like I am stepping into a new dimension, a new season. Right before Jesus began his ministry he was baptized. I really feel as If I have begun my journey towards my destiny here in earth. Getting baptized totally initiated that for me on some level. It was an awesome experience, especially having Reina there and Diego as they both took part and witnessed my public voice. I tell my son every other day that he is going to change the world. My job is to leave a well lit torch for him and my other 4 kids to carry when we’re gone. Its all about leaving an eternal Legacy for Christ. I am speechless and humbled by being able to assist in the baptizing of the others, what an amazing experience over-all.
Sunday evening for the past few weeks, have been our very own “iron chef” before the show. Last week the secret ingredient was “POSOLE” , this week was homemade Burgers, this Sunday? hmmm not sure yet. Its been awesome Marcus and Terry! Lets keep the grill going! Did I hear “ribs?” haha
At around 11pm on Sunday night after 2 blackouts I got to finally read that Blake Matthew Johnson was born. I am so excited to finally meet that kid. Diego’s got a little partner to run around the theatre lobby with. Who knows they may start a band one day! Monday: Diego got his booster shots. It always sucks to sit there and watch your son get poked with a sharp needle. On the first shot, he didn’t feel a thing, “long live Sparta!!!” Now on the second one, Diego screamed bloody murder, the 3rd and 4th didn’t matter he was still feeling the 2nd one. I had to step out the room for the last 3shots. But then I rushed in, picked him up and told him everything is ok. He kept looking back at the nurse with his “get that lady away from me look”, He’s one tough kid! Can’t wait to have more!! haha.
One more thing, I set up a site meter for my blog page and I have either set it up wrong or really no one is reading my blogs. If there is someone out there please let me know. I HAVE A PRIZE FOR THE 50th COMMENT ON MY PAGE. So if anyone is out there please let me know that my thoughts and words are not in vain! LOL oh yeah don’t forget to RSVP for our housewarming party.See you there.
