I’ve been trying to summarize this weekend but I have not been successful in doing so. All I can say is that I am surrounded by amazing people that have inspired me to live an amazing life. This weekend we moved our LPC offices to a new location. Many people came out to help us move and in that process I was inspired to be a better friend, husband, father and leader. In that process I realized that the one person that is watching all the time is the only one that matters. In that process I realized that I am broken, flawed, dysfunctional and unqulified…In that process I had some truly meaningful conversations. All in all it was a life changing weekend.

Sunday morning I feel like I connected in a totally different way then ever before. I totally spoke into my own heart…I had my own medicine. “since when is it about me? what I can do? my strengths? my talents?….It never has. It has always been about what God can do. It has always been about God taking the rejects and doing something amazing. This morning we all returned to our different worlds. But returned ready to live life to the fullest and inspire the world with our journey.

We also celebrated Diego’s 2yrs of life. We had a blast, Diego had a blast, and Reina baked the coolest cake ever…thanks to all of our friends that came by to wish my son a very happy birthday. That’s all I gots to say…have a great week.

My little guy is growing up so fast. I gotta admit, its sad watching him grow up. I was looking back at all his pics and videos and yeah I’ll admit…I got a little emotional. I remember when he first crawled, walked, ran…said Dadda…and now he says Jesse…LOL…trying to get him to stick with Daddy and not only when he wants something. Having a son has made me a softy, but its all good! I love it. This weekend we will be celebrating his 2yrs of life. I am so excited. I am thankful to God for this amazing gift. May he grow up to be passionate about God, people, and music like Daddy…Love you Diego!!!! Can’t wait to meet Zion Max!!! Love you too buddy.

There’s been a few people wondering if I have abandoned my Faith In Christ Jesus. They’ve asked if I am a buddhist or practicing Kabbalah. It has been hilarious to hear those 2 questions with my name attached. Why are they asking? Well, I wear a red string on my wrist. While I was performing these past few shows there were a few closeups on the video and a few pictures online of me wearing this red string bracelet. Since then I’ve had quite a few people ask why I wear them, or If was practicing Kabbalah. Well to answer the question. No, I am not a buddhist nor practicing Kabbalah. I am still a passionate follower of Jesus Christ!!!

While I traveled to Cambodia with TSP the first day we met the Cambodian people we were given a gift. It was a wrist band full of fresh cool flowers with an amazing scent. We were each presented with one. I took my flowers to the hotel room where it provided an amazing aroma all 3 days of my stay in phnom Penh. Cambodia and its beautiful people really impacted my life in a great way. By the time I left, the flowers were drying up and soon were gonna kick the can. I noticed the flowers were being held by a thin red string. I removed the dry flowers, tore the red string off and rapped it around my wrist to remember the families in Cambodia. I promised to always wear a red string to remember the journey God allowed me to take to Cambodia, and the children we performed for. A part of my heart is still there and hope to return very soon, and as often as possible. To share, to give, to build and to sing some more. Eventually I wanna take my wife and kids to the country God has placed in my heart and hope he places in theirs too.
