Create Movements not Circles.

Movements create invitations for all to be part. Movements can mobilize people towards  life changes. Movements can create an open space where there once was  none. Movements can actually change the world. Movements inspire the uninspired. Movements can be strong. Movements are diverse. Movements keep us alive and promote life. Movements think outside of the box. Our hearts and souls connect to Movements because of the nature of our creation.

Circles are vicious. Circles are difficult to get into and difficult to get out of. Circles are usually on a members only basis. Circles create self entitlements above others. Circles spin. Circles isolate people. Circles restrict. In a Circle, the world revolves around YOU. Circles limit your space. Circles are usually for the cool kids.

I’ve been on both ends. Dying and pleading to be in the circle, only to realize I’m not that cool for Circles. I’ve been part of movements that have Inspired, challenged and changed my life. I may be completely off or slightly right. These are my personal thoughts…

What are your thoughts? Would you rather be part of a movement or a circle? Can they both Co exist? Enlighten me!

Why Fuser?

It’s always funny to run into random people that think my name is Fuser. Or they’ll greet me by saying, “Hey what’s up FUZER.” As in light fuse, or chemical fuser. But the nickname is actually pronounced

Foo–ser   Example.

You can thank my lil bro Alejandro for knighting me with the nickname. I got the nickname based on the story of Ernesto Guevara De la Serna depicted in the film Motorcycle Diaries from 2004. The dramatization of a motorcycle road trip Che Guevara went on in his youth that showed him his life’s calling. Since then I’ve been nicknamed “Fuser.”

At first I thought it was sill, but as more people seriously began referring to me as Fuser, it kinda stuck with me. I took it on as an artist nickname. So there you go…just in case you wondering.

Culture

Whether it’s a new job, a new city, a new village, a new movement, a new calling, a new____________ that you will be part of. Remember, Learn the culture. Learn the language, don’t try to change it. Don’t try to fix something that isn’t broken. If you are in the business of creating culture within culture, let it happen naturally. Change from within is always embraced.
