Its been a few days since I blog. Its been pretty busy here in Homestead. Tons of dreaming and planning. What can I say I am anxious and excited. This past Sunday went great. Worship was simple but very intimate. We don’t quite have a drummer yet but we’ve managed. On Sunday My wife and I had an idea of setting up the stage with candles and stool chairs, courtesy of the Johnson’s, Making it a very acoustic cafe type of feel. I think it was great. We may run with this until our drummer arrives. We opened with and oldie but goodie. Spirit of the Lord. We did it with a Spanish gypsy kings guitar intro. It was alot of fun. I gotta admit I hit a moment in worship where I totally lost myself. It felt great. Leading a band in bars, clubs and mainstream venues is day and night from leading worship. To lead-worship is always such a refreshing feeling, though I also dig bringing light where it is needed. I miss performing with my band. Which leads to, We are finally heading out to Nashville to work on what will be our next EP. We are feeling really good about that project. We will be working with some amazing producers/song writers out in Nashville, haber que pasa. Tomorrow we leave to Buzz conference. I think it is going to be amazing. I am looking forward in meeting some great people out there and also brainstorming for Life Pointe.
This past Saturday Reina Diego and myself spent the day in south beach. We had dinner on oceans drive and took Diego to the beach for the first time. It was awesome. I can’t remember the beach being so much fun like it was this weekend. You can go here to see our pics. I can’t wait till Diego is old enough to run around in the sand, build some castles, and swim in the biggest pool in the world. For now goodbye Lake shore drive, I have to make Oceans drive our new weekend family getaway. Before the craziness of course. LOL
