    Well whenever I do that (use my child-like instinct) I get accused of not acting my age. ‘Chris you need to grow up … You’re 40 now – not 25 !’

    I agree. Sometimes a child-like instinct (actually, it’s probably more of a primal instinct) serves better than thinking through a bunch of stuff that just clogs that creative flow.
